Two production records were set up in the shops of Byelorussian Steel Works which is proved by the performance of the last month. The top performance was achieved by the teams of melting shop No.2 and mill 150 (Rolling shop).

Thus, based on August results, the amount of steel, produced in melting shop-2 was 76 878 t. This figure is higher than the previous record set in this shop back in March 2013 by 834 t. According to the steel makers: this achievement became possible thanks to coordinated work of all services and efficient cooperation with other departments of BMZ. In fact, all steel produced in melting shop in August was converted by mill 850 (Rolling shop), new Bar & Wire Rod Mill (Rolling shop-2) and by the pipe shop into products with high added value.

   The record set by the team from mill 150 is also very important. They produced 51 200 t. of hot-rolled product. The team of this mill stepped over 50 thousand t. for the first time in their history! The steel produced in this mill is further converted in Steel Cord & Wire shops, as well as it is exported to the Netherlands, Great Britain, Italy, Poland, Latvia and Lithuania.
