Members of National Parliament of the Republic of Belarus appreciated environmental activities of BMZ

At the beginning of March the members of Chamber of Representatives of National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on ecology, nature management and Chernobyl disaster held the meeting on practical environmental activities of BMZ under National Legislation.

Being a big metallurgical enterprise, BMZ cannot avoid the environmental impact.   Being aware of this fact, the management of BMZ carries out the regular works intended for minimization of environmental impact by using up-to-date technologies.  The members of Committee were personally convinced of this fact after visiting Shops, modernized facilities.  For example, the de-dusting plant-1 is one of the global ecological projects of 2014. By the way, BMZ has invested a lot into the ecological projects in recent years. In 2014, the current environmental costs of BMZ were BYB 287 billion.

The members of Committee noted that the possibility to inspect all activities of BMZ and its environmental impact is like to look at problems of the enterprise and all the region from the inside.
