Belarusian-Italian high pressure hose joint venture started to work in Orsha

On December 10, 2014 the Belarus’ first project to manufacture high-pressure was started up. It will be implemented at the Belarusian & Italian enterprise that was created consequently the investment agreement signed by Ministry of industry of the Republic of Belarus, OJSC “BSW – management company “BMC”holding, OJSC “Legmash” and  Manuli Rubber Industries.

Over €16.5 million has been invested in the enterprise that will be able to manufacture about 7.3 million running meters of high-pressure hoses per annum. Manuli Hydraulics Manufacturing Bel will produce high pressure. single-braided and double-braided hoses used in hydraulic systems of agricultural machines. It should be noted, that up till now Belarus had to import high-pressure hoses from the European Union, Russia, and China.

The main consumers of the merchandise in Belarus are OAO Minsk Tractor Works and the industrial group Gomselmash.  The company intends to sell 20% of the output on the local market and sell the rest abroad via Manuli Company's distribution network. In 2015 Manuli Hydraulics Manufacturing Bel will ship about €9.5 million worth of merchandise.

Earnings per employee will be €92,000 in 2015. Five years later the figure is expected to rise up to €123,000, with the profitability of the enterprise at 17%.

Rubber compounds made by Manuli Company and hose wires made by OJSC “BSW – management company “BMC” holding  are the basic materials used to make high-pressure hoses. The long-term fruitful cooperation of BMZ and Manuli Company became not the least of the factors of the establishing of Manuli Hydraulics Manufacturing Bel.

At present the company employs 42 workers, 12 more will be employed by 1 January 2015. The enterprise is expected to find employment for 42 more people in 2015. Taking part in the opening ceremony were First Vice Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko, representatives of the Industry Ministry, the founding companies, the Vitebsk Oblast administration, and the Orsha District administration.
