As before, a competition was announced for model selection at Byelorussian Steel Works. Among applications the special commission selected 15 pretenders by appearancesand then a photographer confirmed 12girls. Engineers, laboratory assistants, economists, accountants and student of Zhlobin metallurgical college became models.

This year BMZ also adheres the conception chose before: metallurgy is not only men's profession. A quarter of BMZ staff is women who carry out their duties perfectly and just their presence inspires men workers for outstanding achievements. That is why amateur models took part in the photoshoot where photographer discovered their beauty and originality on the back of plant facilities. Special costumes of girls are associated with metallurgy: suits were made of cloth that is used for BMZ’s clothes. It should be noted that the participation of girls had no commercial reasons; it was just the possibility to assume a new role, to realize every girl’s dream - became a model at least for one day.

-       I liked everything, - said Tatiana Hatkevitch, central laboratory assistant, her photo was placed at September page. – We worked with make up artist, hair stylist and the excellent photographer. A professional model advised us to find the most perfect shoot angles. So many impressions! I have never thought that it needs to work so hard to get a good photo. We started at 8.00 a.m. and finished after 5.00. p.m. At that day only two girls were shot.Sitting is not easyespecially when the shoot was carried out in the melting shop where the model and melting steel were a few steps away. Anyway I was satisfied, it was an interesting experience. Not every girl has the possibility to try a model role, girls at BMZ have it.

The enterprise calendar will be distributed among business partners of Byelorussian Steel Works all over the world. In November it was presented in the International exhibition “Metal EXPO 2013” in Moscow. One of the calendar features is a special logotype that marks thirty-year anniversary of BMZ in 2014.
