BSW at the VIII Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia
Within the framework of the eighth Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia, which took place from June 29 to July 1, Byelorussian Steel Works together with BMZ Trading House signed tripartite framework agreements for the supply of steel products with a total value of over 18 million US dollars.
The forum on the topic "Scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and Belarus in the era of digitalization" was held under the auspices of the upper chambers of parliaments of the two countries - the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in the format of a video conference between Moscow and Minsk.
More than 700 people from both sides took part in the plenary session of this large-scale event. The Russian market is currently one of the main export destinations for BMZ, and accounts for about a quarter of all exported products.
The interest of Russian companies in products for the construction and oil refining industries is supported by the extremely high demand for the products, as well as the high quality of the plant's products. In accordance with the signed agreements, large Russian companies such as “Tubing Technology UGRA”, OOO “Tekhnologiya Bureniya” and OOO “UVM-Stal” plan to purchase more than 12 thousand tons of seamless pipes and reinforcing bars by the end of 2021.
