BMZ Consumer Loyalty Index Exceeded 85%

OJSC “BYELORUSSIAN STEEL WORKS – MANAGEMENT COMPANY OF “BYELORUSSIAN METALLURGICAL COMPANY” HOLDING” studied its customer loyalty index (NPS). According to the results of work in 2019, this indicator amounted to 85.9%, which is the highest result for the entire duration of the research. Compared to 2018, it increased by 4.5 percent.

As part of the study, the corresponding questionnaires were sent to consumers of Belarusian steel products from Europe, America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the CIS. 135 different companies expressed their opinion on interaction with BMZ in 2019. As a result, 88.1% of respondents said they would recommend Byelorussian Steel Works for cooperation, 9.6% took a neutral position, and only 2.2% of respondents gave critical comments. According to the existing calculation methodology, the difference between the percentage of loyal and dissatisfied customers becomes an indicator of NPS. According to the results of 2019, BMZ reached 85.9%, which corresponds to a high level of loyalty.

   In 2019 Byelorussian Steel Works exported 2.2 million tons of steel products to 65 countries amounting to $ 1.16 billion. Concerning BMZ regional export, the leading positions are indicated by the EU countries, the Russian Federation and Africa. Two months of 2020 are characterized with the same tendency. The top 5 key importers of Belarusian steel products for January-February of this year are Russia, Germany, Poland, Lithuania and the Netherlands. In total for the specified period, BMZ products were exported to 44 countries.
