BSW received EcoVadis Golden Medal for achievements in corporate social responsibility
OJSC "BSW - management company of "BMC" holding" is now among top global companies on EcoVadis CSR platform. According to data of this world known organization, Byelorussian steel works, when experts assessed corporate social responsibility, was added to top-5% of companies and was rated as ‘Golden recognition’.
International experts rate BSW that high for the second time: in 2017 EcoVadis also added the enterprise to top-5% of companies. The second recognition shows that the plant builds up its activities taking key principles of CSR into account. By the way, BSW became the first industrial company in the country in 2008 that signed a direct contract with UNO to join Global Compact. In 2009 as per GRI standard, BSW first social management report was developed. From that moment on it is issued on a yearly basis, and becomes available on UNO and company’s websites.
