Six delegates of OJSC "BSW —management company "BMC" holding” will participate in the II Congress of Belarusian scientists, which will be held in Minsk on 12-13 December. At the biggest scientific forum Byelorussian Steel Works will be represented by General Director A. N. Savenok, Deputy General Director for Technology and Quality E. A. Peretyagina, as well as the specialists of Research Center and Technical Department.

The II Congress of Belarusian scientists that will gather more than two thousand delegates and will become a platform for discussing the achievements and prospects of scientific industry of Belarus, will be of great practical interest for specialists of BMZ. Throughout its history, the company actively cooperates with domestic and foreign scientific institutions, engages in research activities in the field of metallurgy.  At the beginning of 2017, the enterprise was given  the status of a scientific organization.

It is worth noting that in 10 years that have passed since the I Congress of scientists of Belarus, BMZ has taken a big step in terms of innovative development. So, the plant was developed and introduced its own unique technologies of oil and gas pipe production for exploitation  in the far North, as well as for hydraulic fracturing in oil production.

The good results were got in Wire production. In the period 2007-2017, BMZ developed the innovative production technologies of ultra high-tensile steel cord for automobile tires, of steel cord for all-metal super large size tires for mine trucks. Thus, BMZ became the producer of a wide range of steel cord for the all tire types from car and light truck tires to super large size tires.

   It should be noted the results of the development of new export products in Rolling Mill-2 of BMZ. Thanks to the close cooperation of science and production, the plant was able to sell  the products of Mill-2  in such premium market segments, as the automotive industry, manufacture of bearings and precision engineering.
