The results of EXPO 2020: contracts for the total amount over $100 million were signed
In February 2022, the days of Gomel Region were held at the national exhibition hall of Belarus at EXPO 2020. Our delegation was headed by Deputy Chairman of Gomel Regional Executive Committee Andrey Konyushko and interests of BSW were represented by General Director Dmitry Korchik
During the event, Belarusian delegation made a number of presentations on the investment, trade and economic potential of the region. Business negotiations were held between representatives of Belarusian enterprises, including BSW and business groups of the UAE and other countries. As a result, Belarusian Steel Works signed several contracts for the supply of its products for the amount over $100 million.
For reference: the world exhibition Expo 2020 takes place in Dubai (UAE) in the period from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 and in its 168-year history record number of visitors have visited it already. More than 200 participants from 190 countries of the world are represented at EXPO 2020.
